There is also a thriving regional bluegrass and folk music scene with several theaters and clubs regularly hosting acoustic artists in these genres and some of them are even nationally renowned. Riverfront Nights and Nightfall represent free summer concert series which have made significant contributions towards spurring up the music scene in the downtown area.
