Hamilton Place

Hamilton Place, Chattanooga was the largest shopping Mall in Tennessee at the time when it opened in 1987. After the renovation in 1998, Hamilton Place currently holds over 150 restaurants and stores. Yet another expansion involving $100 million is underway and includes a lifestyle center as well as two parking garages. Funding of the expansion is planned through a 0.5 to 1% fee on all purchases at the mall and 5 other CBL centers within a radius of one mile from the Hamilton place.

In 2009, the Hamilton place introduced ‘Annual Taste’ event and the proceeds from the event were committed to the Thompson Children’s Hospital Foundation. This event provided locals and visitors the unique opportunity of tasting versatile offerings from bakeries, caterers, and restaurants and meet the chefs responsible for making those delicacies possible.
