The Art & Culture scene in Chattanooga has lots on offer when you travel in Chattanooga. The Tivoli Theatre which was recently restored is the venue for major cultural and entertainment events in the City. The 40,000 square foot Little Theatre hosts programs produced in Chattanooga and presents eight main stage shows which are professionally directed using regional as well as local talents. The Little Theater has much more on offer in terms of local flavor all through the year and you should be looking for some of these on your Chattanooga travel deals.

The Bessie Smith Performance Hall is a 264 seat facility at the Heritage center and is a legacy of “Empress of the Blues” from the city. Adjacent to the facility you will also find the Chattanooga African American History Museum which offers a diverse range of exhibits and education in Art and artifacts. The Hunter Museum of Art overlooking the Tennessee River will also add to your experience. To benefit the locals as well as visitors, this museum is undergoing a 19.5 million dollar expansion.

On the cultural and fine arts front, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has numerous offerings. The University Theater hosts series of programs throughout the year in various disciplines of music. The Cress Gallery of Art at the University is home for visiting exhibitions and works from students and the locals.
