Arial tramway is a cable car which is suspended on a cable and pulled by another cable. It is used to carry load from one place to another. It is sometimes used in mountain regions to carry load and passengers. There are about 120 tramways in the Gatlinburg. This 120 passenger cabs was replaced by doppelmayr in the year 2007. This tramway is spread over the length of 3.4 km or 2.1 miles. And runs with a speed of 27 km/hr.
