Centennial Park takes center-stage as it was built more than a century ago, actually at the outset of Civil War. It has a beautiful lake named Watauga and the park is placed on the lake edges. Centennial Park also houses the famous plaster replica of Parthenon.

Bicentennial State Park is an urban 19-acre park. There are lots of eateries placed at junctions and kids especially adore a wash in the fountains. The park, made to commemorate 2 centuries of Nashville is free.

Edwin and Percy Warner Parks offer an educative angle to the parks. There are many shows and auditions held in these parks. A few seminars too are held to underline the importance of parks. It also has a kid's section. It also holds Full Moon picking party annually and is great for trailing.
