The Percy and Edwin Warner Parks are about 9 miles away from downtown Nashville. The twin parks cover an extent of 2684 acres and are born on the national Register of Historic places. The origin of these parks dates back to 1927, and in modern times constitutes two major parks in Nashville.

The twin parks have plenty on offer for visitors from all age profiles. Cycling, hiking, riding, horseback riding, biking, and golf are only some of the representative activities. Though the trails are ideal for mountain biking the park authorities have prohibited mountain biking for the sake of the horses on the trails. To enhance your experience, the park also offers a number of covered picnic spaces. Hikers will find the unpaved trails along the woods absorbing. The Warner Park Nature Center deserves special mention for the varieties of activities they are engaged in, in protecting the park environs.
