Established in 1879, the Nashville Hatch Show Print Company has been responsible for the unforgettable, mesmerizing, and colorful adverts for various famous companies. Its style has always been, and always remains unique, and they have been doing it for over a century, till this very date.
Surprisingly, even today, in the age of globalization, the workplace has just one computer, used for receiving email orders from customers. The letterpress turned museum was founded by two brothers Charles and Herbert, under the name CR and HH. Their first work was a handbill that announces the appearance of Henry Ward Beecher.
Their first work took the nation by storm, and business started growing at such a rate that every nook and corner displayed their creations. Basketball matches, carnivals, circuses- literally everyone took their help in coming up with a compelling advertisement.
In the 1920's, Charles's son Will Hatch took over the company and started helping the country's music artists to publicize themselves. But after his death, the company struggle bid time in being able to cope up with the changing ad world. But thanks to its faithful customers, this company again lifted itself, and still uses 15th century processes.
The Hatch Show Print Company has always been supporters of recycling wastes, and their waste sheets were used for making post cards, greeting cards, and notebook covers. The company has 10000 base wood and maple woodblocks, and the artists lay out blocks and plates backwards and use a mirror to avoid spelling mistakes, a typical 15th century process. The company boasts 147 historic printing presses.
